I also had a new Camera for Xmas - my old one had 1.3 m pixels and almost no possible settings at all. It also had some hard times, during outdoor gigs this summer with Transport League among others, so it had seen it's best days for sure. Now I'm up for some decent shots again, as long as I stay resonable sober I guess.

I hate going from "disaster chaos" to "possible to enter the flat"

Everytime I actually found my flat under some Terrorizer, bills that should have been paid looong ago and pizza boxes, still holding some spices, I say to myself: " A small amount of daily, or at least weekly maintanence will do this much easier".
But then... getting home from work, I tend to slip into the sofa, watching Scrubs or whatever and fall asleep, or end up sitting like now, in front of the PC, surfing and spamming forums, chatting with friends, surfing hot sites (like This site ), blogging, whatever... I'm no different from when I was 12 y o!
Usually, when my parent calls, saying they're coming over, they also say, "No, we know how you are, you don't need to clean things up". Well it's freaking Xmas now, and more ppl "accidently" pass by... Anyone has any slave to trade??

Yeah, my parents fucked (up) a bit... so I was born in December.
Very well... I was the last one being allowed to do all this stuff you wish to do as a teenager. Driving, going to the pub, buying alcohol at "Systembolaget"... Finally, I think I've left that stuff behind me. Almost :P

Anyway, next week, I'm totally busy at work, bla bla bla, cleaning up a mess at home, finding gifts for kids and so on. So my friend decided to take me to lunch already today... as a gift.
So instead of half a sandwich at the desk, I found myself sitting with a Filet Mignon at a nice restaurant and a relaxed lunch for once.

Excellent gift, instead of something wrapped in a package...
And yes, at my birthday I will become, like... something around 27 maybe...

Stop laughing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4. Free tickets to every festival in Europe with good bands this summer, oh and the other gigs aswell...
5. A two month round trip in U.S so I can visit some ppl there. I really wish to meet them soon... and visit some neat rock clubs (I can drive around myself, if a nice Mustang (late 60's, early 70's) is included)
6. A nice villa in southern Italy, for the too cold winters in Sweden...
7. A new X-box, since my old has said goodbye :( and some new games...
8. A shitload of money (Yeah I know then I buy all things above myself, but I appreciate gifts!!!)
9. A slave, to clean up my mess every now and then in the flat, do some laundry, shopping, things like this...
10. Last wish I share with some ppl I know... Make them slightly more honest... Would be much appreciated!

Just the "Bluedevil" fish that used to live here on blogspot. He messed up my page totally, since I don't know enough about layout, to fix things up...
Yesterday I found out, that if I post certain scripts as a blog, EVERYTHING is a mess. Suddely fontsize is 6 pts, and for aged ppl like myself, that's more than impossible...

One day I will learn, hopefully... Until then, after having everything remade, links etc etc, I stick to posting simple things like this nonsense...

For Dissection 30 th of December

What that will do for my New Years Eve... no one knows. And actually I don't care! I'm not too much for traditions... I can survive some, for people close to me that appreciate this more than me! But for me, anytime, with good friends (and even better including great metal) is a good time...
The only days I have a problem with are mondays... I HATE FUCKEN MONDAYS!!!
I just wish they'd disappear, send them to someone who wish them... But I guess that would leave Tuesdays bad... Bah, whatever...
I'll just surf some rock-porn and get a glimpse of some sechsy metal-guys, and suddenly, today being monday is just a blurry memory :P

So I had to "powder my nose" - hehe

And since I was the one taking most shots at the party, I took the opportunity to look myself in the mirror... SCARY!!!!

I must start with saying: It was a great event, and I had a blast, even if most people are more into oldschool than I am. I learned about some new bands, I've never heard of before, and of course, met a lot of really nice people, that I hope to share more fun with in the future!

Things were well planned, we had some nice food (not very metal to have a salad though ;) ), and not a boring second until we left the building!

So, here we go - this is how things finished, in a very democratic way:

1. Årets låt 2005 (Best song of the year)
Well, I figured out, even before I got there, that my taste for death metal wouldn't score much...
So maybe, bootlicking for the audience, I played Angry Inch with Type O Negative, which is kind of a party starter for me. Well, no luck with that one. The other one, (deciding to celebrate Swedish metal), Entombed with Out of Hand, scored even less. At least in this class... But hey, I wanted to show what I like, without too much of a shock (had GAI, Dissection, Satariel and Sanctification in mind and prepared too, but as the evening developed... Entombed it was). So in the final, we had quite a mix (my acts not in the final, by far...). Bachman Turner Overdrive, Jörn Lande, Monster Magnet, Apocalyptica...
And the winner was: SPACELORD with Monster Magnet! Think that the fact that it's been in a quite good commercial lately also helped... Recognized acts seems to score more, good or not!

2. Årets tyngsta (Heaviest performance)
The final competion was between Slayer, Entombed, Electric Wizard and Rammstein (I think we had 5 Rammstein songs among the 40 played!). Since you couldn't vote for your own song, my vote was on Slayer! Entombed finished 2nd, so not too bad for a rookie.
But heaviest song of 2005 was Feuer Frei with Rammstein. Everyone (almost) was in a Rammstein mood, so not too surpriced :)

3. Årets utstyrsel (Best clothes (of the participants, not the bands :P))
Well arriving there, I heard that they've never been able to choose one... So just judge for yourselves, looking at the pic from last blog :P There's 4 of us there at least ;) I'll add more pics, as soon as I've had some from "Princess".

4. Årets groupie (Groupie of the year - Here I just must win, or I fucken die!!!)
Dee's Letter of recommendation made a success, where I dared to show it ;) And they said that the title was mine, if they hadn't change the competition at the end, to Rocker of the year... So we competed in "How to take a mouthful and still being able to speak", "How smooth you are with your fingers", "How good your are at drinking" and last but not least, the final was about "The way to move your hips...". Winner here was Pelle... So Grats there! But next year I wish an official Groupie Ranking!!! I need that for my CV and work applications ;)
