I can't wait until I have the interview completed
I must say a few words about April 3rd
FUCKEN AWESOME!!!
Seeing M.A.N was great. More impressive and tight than last summer as Transport League. I guess it was true when Tony said it felt good to give up the guitar and focus on holding that mic in an aggresive way. Spinning the CD this weekend to check it out!
Then we had some Misery Index as mid act: I admit, I was curious about them after reading Fishermane's Interview with Jason here. Before reading that, I had never heard of them...
Not my kind of music really... but they really gave us all they had for about 20 minutes or something (time flies at live gigs... if it's good ;) ) and I enjoyed their energy and how they played with duo growling. Their drummer was impressive and their bass player were intense, almost insane I'm afraid :D
And then they came, first time in Sweden since... TOO LONG!
I wont tell too much about it, since some is included in the interview with Raymond Herrera that (hopefully ;) ) will be published at the same site as Fishermane had the one with Jason.
But what can I say... You can say whatever crap you wish about Fear Factory but they have all I wish from a live band. Energy and fun on stage, intelligent kicking the 17 yo kids of the audience asses when they can't stop shouting about songs. "This is no fucking karaoke show" Burton said! And still... he gave them what they needed, asked for and more... As did Ray, the one and only, Christian, who I think smiled through all evening, and Byron, the sexiest bassist on earth...
well among a few other bassists that I have some sort of crush on, but nevertheless... Aaaahhh, I hope he comes back with Strapping Young Lad aswell! And soon!
I'll have to wrap up this interview thingie soon, and of course, when its done, I'll force you losers to visit GD again!! :)
And my wallet tells me... no more live thingies until Örebro, 21st of April... but I can live on this last one for some time!!!
